The country of Venezuela, officially known as the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, is located on the northern coast of the South American continent. Its territory encompasses roughly 354,000 square miles (916,445 square kilometers), on which lives the country’s estimated population of 29.1 million inhabitants.
